FIG launches ChimeRA, an augmented reality app to simulate the installation of your boiler's smoke evacuation chimney
FIG has just released an augmented reality mobile application that allows testing different ducts and components of smoke evacuation systems of any type of wall-mounted condensing boiler, heater or pellet stove. The technological solution is extremely useful for installers and is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
The app allows you to view FIG products in 3D interactively so that, without having the object in your hands, you can check the result of installing it in a specific space from any Smartphone or Tablet.
Thanks to the hyper-realistic digitization of 3D products, users are immersed in an immersion in which they can see, move and rotate FIG products in real space in which they meet.
The operation of the app is very simple and intuitive, the user, once the application has been downloaded and has been registered in it, only needs to perform a few simple steps to realistically visualize the complete design of the smoke evacuation outlet installation.
- Choose the type of appliance to be installed (wall mounted condensing boiler, water heater or pellet stove) and the diameter of the pipe .
- Scan the wall where the device is located with the corresponding connection piece.
- Design the route where you want the smoke evacuation tubes to go.
- Capture the result with the camera and generate a PDF with the list of the pieces used and with the images you have taken of the final design of the installation with all the pieces assembled .
