In 1998, Clever Taps was born, a natural evolution of Standard Hidráulica's business lines, focused on the production of taps. With a wide collection of more than 3,000 references, Clever stands out for exquisite designs, advanced technology, innovation and eco-efficiency, consolidating itself as a world-renowned brand for kitchens and bathrooms.

In the year 2000, Clever Taps took center stage with its first individual tap catalogue, especially highlighting the Habana series. For 2010, Standard Hidráulica joins the Aalberts Industries NV group, world leader in Fluid Control and Service Industry.

The Panam series was presented in 2003, becoming Clever Faucets' most recognized single-lever mixer after more than a decade on the market. Inspired by New York in 2004, the brand surprises with the Caiman Series, with a cylindrical and minimalist design, strengthening its commitment to design.

In 2008, Clever Faucets underwent a significant expansion by expanding its catalog with Clever Platinum, Clever Selección and Clever Distribución, consolidating itself in the national and international market.

In 2010, the brand took a leap with the famous model Laura Ponte as its image, increasing its recognition both nationally and internationally. In 2014, they incorporated the HidroClever section, reinforcing their focus on design and quality.

In 2016, Clever renews its brand worldwide, modernizing its image and demonstrating its leadership. For 2019, the STH group is formed to offer efficient thermal and sanitary solutions for buildings and water and gas distribution networks.

Finally, in 2021, the STH group incorporates two new companies in South Africa and Greece. In 2022, they join the H.I.G. Capital, marking a new milestone in the history of the company.
