Here is a reference guide for calculating powers:
- Find on the map the climatic zone where the building is located.
- Find the row corresponding to your area in the table below for the coefficient expressed in W / m2, based on the following parameters: insulation, facades, location of the building and height with respect to the building.
Take the coefficient found, depending on the type of appliance you want to install and multiply it by the area in m2 of the room, to obtain the power of the appliance to install.
EXAMPLE
In the case of wanting to heat a 23m2 room using the dynamic accumulation system, the following steps must be followed:
- The building is located in the city of Toledo, climatic zone C.
- Thermally insulated building.
- Rooms with two facades, in the urban nucleus.
- Stay on the 2nd floor of a 4-column building (mezzanine column).
The value found is 78W / m2,
78W / m2 x 23m2 = 1,794W.
We must choose the model whose power is immediately above this value. In this case it would be the 1,850W (14 hour circuit).
Some important facts:
- The values in this table should be taken as calculation guidance.
- The table is valid for rooms with a floor-ceiling free height of 2.5 meters.
- If the room to be heated is a business, school, office, shop, etc., multiply the result by 0.85.
