Spring has arrived, and for many it is time to thoroughly clean the house and give the bathroom a new life.
But what if all that cleaning was effortless? Now it is possible thanks to innovations from Duravit. One example is the HygieneFlush flushing technology, which combined with antibacterial functions offers maximum hygiene for a perfect wellness experience in the bathroom.
We present how you can save time cleaning your bathroom with Duravit :
- HygieneFlush: the innovative flushing system that cleans effectively
- Rimless®: no channel, no dirt
- HygieneGlaze: the ceramic glaze that inhibits bacterial growth by 99.9%
- WonderGliss: the vitrified that gives no respite to the lime
* Tip: Gently clean the ceramic with a soft cloth
The toilet channel often it becomes a problem area that is difficult to clean. This is not the case with Duravit's new HygieneFlush technology. Here the water flows through two openings at the same time. This creates a vortex that powerfully flushes the water and optimally cleans the entire interior of the toilet. Independent tests confirm the effectiveness of this technology.
Functional and hygienic solutions are not contrary to elegant design. The HygieneFlush option can be chosen for example for the toilet models of the ME by Starck series, which meets the highest aesthetic demands, fits into completely different stylistic worlds and combines modern design with technology.
To eliminate the build-up of dirt, limescale and germs, the manufacturer of designer bathrooms has equipped the Duravit No.1 range of toilets with its renowned Duravit Rimless® flushing technology . Hard-to-reach places are therefore a thing of the past. These toilets are easy to keep clean as the water begins to circulate in the open, easily accessible channel prior to internal flushing. The critical area of the front toilet is perfectly rinsed and splash-free.
Duravit's innovative flushing technologies in combination with HygieneGlaze ceramic glazing offer the best possible hygiene, cleanliness and protection. The glaze is fired into the ceramic up to the inside edge of the toilet or urinal, ie exactly where E. coli bacteria are particularly common.
90 percent of bacteria die after just six hours and 99.9 percent within 24 hours. The Institute for Hygiene and Public Health at the University of Bonn confirms the effective effect of HygieneGlaze: The special glaze has a toxic effect on bacteria and germs, inhibiting their growth. The antibacterial vitrified is available for Duravit toilets and urinals.
Another guarantee for a clean bathroom tile is the WonderGliss primer, which makes sinks or toilets very easy to clean. Dirt and limescale cannot adhere to the smooth ceramic glaze and are washed away with the water. Any residue can be removed with a soft cloth.
In general, a soft cotton cloth is best for cleaning the bathroom, while microfiber cloths can scratch ceramic tiles. A gentle lemon-based cleanser left on for a few hours effectively removes dirt. Foam cleaners have the advantage that they stick to smooth, vertical surfaces longer than liquid cleaners. Limescale can also be easily removed with dissolved denture cleaner or dishwashing liquid in the sink or toilet.
