GOLMAR products

Golmar Sistemas de Comunicación SA was born in 1954, and a year later it manufactured its first intercom for offices. It was in 1958 when it developed its first communication equipment for homes, followed a few years later by the video intercom, which today is the most important product. Exporting has been one of the main activities of the company since 1968. It currently represents more than 65% of production and extends to more than 55 countries, with special emphasis on the demanding members of the European Community. In 1994, Golmar became the first Spanish company to develop a digital video door entry system, unequivocal proof of its high degree of innovation. A key factor for this successful trajectory has been the ability to develop new products, and adapt them to the needs of each of the markets. In the last quarter of 1997 it moved to its current premises, in a modern 6,500 m² building, strategically located just a few minutes from Barcelona airport and the city center. Golmar was the first Spanish company in the sector to obtain ISO 9000: 2000 certification, accredited by the prestigious Swiss entity SGS in 2001. Currently, Golmar has a team made up of more than one hundred professionals, representing the innovation department close to the 10% of the total workforce.
In short, Golmar is embarking on an ambitious growth project, with the aim of becoming one of the main European manufacturers of communication equipment for homes.
