Charcoal barbecue Supergrill 70 Habitex

This barbecue has a metal structure and a black lacquered steel bowl. It has the grill function, which is obtained by closing the lid. It comes equipped with 2 grills: 71x37.5 cm and 72.5x19.5 cm, 2 wooden trays, a lower rack and 2 wheels so you can easily transport it. The bottom shelf will allow you to store charcoal or firewood. The wooden trays that are on the side and on the front are ideal for leaving the necessary utensils, such as tongs, for handling food. The barbecue measures 104x66 cm and is 110 cm high. It comes presented in a box.

Whether wood or charcoal is used, it is very important not to start cooking the meat until the embers are whitish and without flame. A trick to make the coals last longer is to add a little coarse salt to them. This will also prevent so much smoke from being generated. And, above all, the grill must be very hot before putting the meat.

Before putting the meat, it is advisable to decide the height of the grill. In general, it is recommended that it be about 20 cm from the embers, but in the case of large pieces –such as steaks– it is advisable to separate the grill more from the embers. This is how they are made over low heat and prevents them from burning on the outside and being raw on the inside. It is not advisable to make the meat dizzy, quite the opposite. First one side until it seals well and then the other. And the meat is seasoned just before removing it from the grill, never before, because it will release juices and it will be drier.
