CILLIT Eurofilter Wf 3/4 "Clarifier Filter

The filter is prepared to withstand a working pressure up to 16 bar and all its components meet the requirements of drinking water treatment and are resistant to corrosion. The head is made of bronze to resist mechanical distortions both in installation and during operation. Connections from 1/2 "to 2".

Installation:

Always take into account compliance with national and local regulations regarding hydraulic installations. Filters must be mounted according to their nominal diameters in pipes of identical dimensions.

They must be placed at the entrance of the installation immediately after the meter, if there is one, in order to fully protect it.

Before and after the filter, two interception valves or a bypass must be fitted.

The installation site must be protected against frost and contact with chemicals, solvent dyes, etc. must be avoided. and direct solar radiation.

When the filter gets dirty, it is enough to remove the threaded glass, wash the mesh and clean the glass itself to recover its full filtering capacity.

If iron oxidation appears on the mesh, it can be washed with very dilute hydrochloric acid. The filter also incorporates a bleed and depressurization screw (in the upper part of the head in the CILLIT®- EUROFILTRO ½ ”and in the lower part of the bowl in the CILLIT®- EUROFILTRO WF ¾” - 2 ”) to facilitate its opening and washing without tools.

- As the filter has a bronze head, it avoids possible problems of tensions or distortions to which the entire hydraulic installation is subjected and that, sometimes, cause the plastic filters to break.

- The CILLIT®- EUROFILTRO WF range perfectly resists a working pressure of 16 bar. The 1 ¼ ”, 1 ½” and 2 ”CILLIT®-EUROFILTRO WF models are supplied with MH links to facilitate installation.

- The filter element is washable and therefore its replacement with a new one occurs after long periods of operation.

- The entire range of CILLIT®- EUROFILTRO WF filters has a filtration degree of 0.09 mm (90 µm) in accordance with the main European recommendations for filters used at the entry point of the installation.

- The CILLIT®- EUROFILTRO WF ½ ”allows the incorporation of a 30 micron filter element for special cases or for technological process waters.

- The CILLIT®- EUROFILTRO causes a practically negligible pressure drop.
