They protect the entire installation from suspended particles, sand, waste from repairs in the public network and small metallic particles that carry water, as well as the problems that corrosion can generate due to the deposition of different materials. They also protect household appliances, washing machines, dishwashers, heaters, boilers, etc.

Why install Kinetico prefilters?
Kinetico prefilters do not use conventional polypropylene, polyester, etc. cartridges, which have to be replaced every time they get dirty. A stainless steel mesh, on the other hand, can last many years depending on the quality of the water. This translates into greater money savings and less waste generation.

How do they work?
The water flows through the outside of the glass and passes through the stainless steel mesh, which filters all sediments greater than 50 microns. These are trapped on the surface of the mesh and thus do not enter the installation. When washing, a powerful brush and the pressure of the water will remove all these particles.

The Kinetico prefilters incorporate a pressure gauge to read the filter outlet pressure.
