Technical characteristics

Characteristics of the 80 litre Regent electric water heater:

- Enameled boiler: The boiler is covered with a layer of enamel that protects it from corrosion.

- Magnesium anode: Prevents corrosion of the steel boiler and acts by electrolysis. It adds additional protection to that provided by the boiler's own enamel.

- 5-screw plate: The plate is the lower part of the boiler where the electrical resistance is connected. The 5-screw plate that we use in our electric water heaters is developed in our factories to ensure maximum watertightness of the water heater.

- Pilot light: Allows you to check that the electric water heater is working properly. The red pilot light comes on when the resistance is heating the water.

- Cable with plug assembled: The electric water heater comes ready to be assembled with all the elements necessary for its installation.

- Dielectric sleeves: Contact between two materials of a different nature, copper and steel, entails a certain danger. In some cases, the phenomenon of electrolysis can occur, and therefore corrosion. To prevent corrosion of the appliance in the inlet and outlet tubes, it is necessary to avoid direct contact between these two materials. Dielectric sleeves make it possible to avoid this contact.

- Valve with cam: Controls the water pressure inside the boiler. It is a safety device against high pressure values and intervenes when the internal pressure exceeds 7-8 kg/cm2. The cam allows the pressure of the boiler to be lowered manually (if the user notices that the electric water heater is dripping, for example.)
