Standard monotube thermostatic valves for radiators can perform two functions simultaneously. On the one hand, the hydraulic circuit can be balanced, easily acting on the shutter with an allen key, in this way the maximum flow into the radiator can be limited.

On the other hand the opening or closing of the valve. This function can be performed manually or automatically by placing one of our thermostatic heads, in this way the temperature control is automatically achieved at the value
preset in the room where the valve is installed, in addition to providing energy savings.

For the correct operation of the system, it must be ensured that the probe inserted into the radiator exceeds approximately 2/3 of its total length. With the handle and stem in the closed position, the radiator is completely isolated, allowing intervention on it without the need to drain the heating circuit.

Although these valves are reversible, it is recommended that the hot water inlet be through the path closest to the radiator, as shown in the images.
