CILLIT®-UNI filters are used for the retention of suspended particles in water for human consumption or for technological applications.

The water enters the interior of the filter, circulates through the filter element from the inside to the outside and is filtered. Suspended particles larger than 90 microns are retained on the inner surface of the filter element, whose degree of dirt is easily visible through the transparent glass.

CILLIT®-UNI filters have a purge valve to facilitate cleaning of the filter element. When the filter becomes dirty, it is generally enough to open this valve for a few seconds, to expel the trapped particles to the drain and to recover the filtration capacity.

Periodically it is also necessary, of course, to remove the threaded glass, wash the mesh and clean the glass itself.
