The ALPHA3 25-60 Grundfos circulator pump has a highly efficient encapsulated rotor, designed for the circulation of liquids in heating systems. With an excellent Energy Efficiency Index (EEI), well below the ErP benchmark, it guarantees significant energy savings.
The ALPHA3 pump has a built-in Bluetooth radio and can be fully controlled by a smart device via the Grundfos GO Remote app. It offers step-by-step assistance for pump setup, maintenance and commissioning.
The ALPHA3 communicates directly with the Grundfos GO Balance app, allowing installers to perform quick hydraulic balancing and simple.
The integrated AUTOADAPT function in radiator and underfloor mode continuously adapts the pump performance to the actual heat demand, i.e. the size of the system and the changing heat demand . The AUTOADAPT function will find the appropriate setting to offer optimum comfort with minimum energy consumption. This also ensures quick, safe and easy commissioning.
The pump also features three control modes with progressive set point adjustment, which allows the pump settings to be adjusted at a given working point :
- Proportional pressure control
- Constant pressure control
- Constant curve mode
Display shows actual power consumption in watts or actual flow in m3/h. LEDs indicate the current state of operation.
The design of the pump and the selected materials contribute to a longer service life. The pump is self-priming through the system, which contributes to easy start-up. Its compact design, featuring a pump head with integrated control box, fits most common installations. The pump and motor form an integral unit without a seal. The bearings are lubricated with the pumped liquid. These constructive features ensure maintenance-free operation.
The pump casing is made of cast iron. The pump casing and pump head are galvanized to improve corrosion resistance.
The motor is permanent magnet, characterized by high efficiency. The speed of the pump is controlled by an integrated frequency converter, which is built into the control box.
The benchmark for the most efficient circulators is IEE ≤ 0.20.
