ALPHA1 L 25-60 180 The Grundfos ALPHA1 L 25-60 180 is a highly efficient circulator pump with a permanent magnet motor (ECM technology).

The pump offers three control modes, radiator heating mode, underfloor heating mode and constant speed/curve mode.

In addition, the speed can be controlled by a low voltage PWM (pulse width modulation) signal.

The pump has a ceramic shaft and radial bearings, carbon thrust bearing, rotor sleeve, support plate and rotor liner in stainless steel and impeller made of composite material, all of which contribute to a long service life, and the pump is self-bleeding, which contributes to easy commissioning and easy selection of the control mode.

Its compact design, featuring a pump head with an integrated control box and control panel, fits into most common installations as well as boilers.

The pump and motor form an integral, sealless unit. The pump design is wet rotor. The bearings are therefore lubricated by the pumped liquid. This construction ensures maintenance-free operation.

The pump housing is made of cast iron and is galvanised to improve corrosion resistance.

The motor is a permanent magnet synchronous rotor/compact stator. The pump controller is built into the control box, which is mounted in the stator housing and connected to the stator via terminal connector.
