The Grundfos SCALA2 self-priming booster set is a compact booster set that supplies constant water pressure in domestic applications. SCALA2 incorporates a speed control that allows the proper pressure to be maintained in the taps, that is, the performance of the pump increases if the demand increases.
Installation can be carried out simply by following three basic steps: Connect pipes, prime the pump and plug the pump connector to the network. The pump is now ready to start working. SCALA2 incorporates all the necessary components to ensure adequate pressure: smart controller, integrated speed control motor, integrated tank, integrated sensors and integrated non-return valves .As it is a self-priming unit, SCALA2 can pump water below its level, it is capable of raising it from a depth of up to 8 meters in less than 5 minutes. This makes it easy to install and start up the pump and provides a reliable supply of water in installations where there is a risk of dry running or pipe leaks.
If exposed to dry running, lack of water or excessive temperature , pump blocked, in case of overload, the pump will stop automatically preventing the motor from burning out. In addition, the pump has an automatic restart system that in case of dry running or similar alarm, the pump stops. It restarts itself up to a maximum of 8 times every 5 minutes and a last attempt 24 hours after the incident.
Thanks to its hydraulic design, permanent magnet motor and water cooling, the pump has a noise level really low, 47 dB(A) in typical use, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The maximum noise level at full load is 53dB (A). The built-in pressure tank reduces the number of starts and stops in case of leaks in the piping system, thus causing less wear on the pump.
SCALA2 does not require extensive maintenance, although it is recommended to keep the pump clean, check valves retention and keep the ventilation holes free of obstructions.

Porta una setmana instal·lada i funciona perfectament. Fa una mica més de soroll del que em pensaba però tampoc una cosa excessiva. Fàcil d'instal·lar, ocupa molt poc espai i pots variar la pressió de sortida. Molt satisfet amb la compra.
