The Grundfos SCALA1 is a self-priming multistage pump that incorporates all the components of a pressure booster in a compact composite casing.

As it is self-priming, the SCALA1 can pump water from a level below the pump . As long as it is filled with water, the pump can lift water from a depth of 8m in less than 5 minutes. This makes it easier to install and commission the pump and provides a more reliable water supply in installations where there is a risk of dry running and leaks in hoses or suction pipes.

SCALA1 can communicate with the Grundfos app GO via built-in Bluetooth, allowing for detailed pump control and highly customizable options, making this pump well suited for every application.

SCALA1 incorporates advanced protection features such as:< br>- Dry-running protection that will automatically stop the pump in the event of a water shortage
- Cyclic protection that will prevent the pump from starting frequently in the event of minor leaks in the installation
- Maximum time protection of execution can stop the pump after a desired period of continuous operation, avoiding potential damage due to flooding in the event of pipe breaks.

The pump has a motor protection built-in r that will stop the pump if exposed to excessive temperature due to high ambient temperature, seizure or overload, thus preventing the motor from burning out.

With Grundfos GO, you can easily set SCALA1 as a double booster system, which works as a serve/standby as well as a serve/assist. It is also possible to add an external input control and program the operation of a pump through the calendar function.

SCALA1 does not require maintenance, but it is recommended to keep the pump clean, check the non-return valves and maintain the ventilation holes free of dust.
