The HOZELOCK irrigation programmer has 16 preset programs to supply water from once a week to four times a day, as well as a function of manual irrigation. Watering time max. 60 minutes Immediate watering function. It works at low pressure (0.1 bar). Compatible with decantation water tanks. It does not need pressure to activate, another feature to highlight is that it is perfect for sprinkler irrigation. It works with 2 AA batteries (not included) and has dimensions of 115x124xh.178 cm. 377 gr. It comes in a box.

Mistakes to avoid:

- Treat plants the same:
Each plant has different light, temperature, humidity and water needs. It is advisable to find out in advance about the biology of outdoor plants in order to plan irrigation in a systematic, accurate and effective way.

- Forgetting to water them:
It seems obvious, but it is one of the most common mistakes frequent. Or water them without a system: a few weeks more and others less or not at all because the previous week you already watered them too much. The best way is to schedule the watering or install an automated system.

- Always with the same frequency:
It is another common mistake. In general, in summer and during flowering it is convenient to hydrate the plants more frequently, while in winter the watering will be less. When in doubt, a trick is to check the soil with your finger: if it is wet it is not necessary to water.

- Overwatering:
Not watering it is just as bad for the plant as doing it too much. An excess of water fills the voids in the substrate and expels the air. Without air, the roots suffocate and die. The symptoms that the plant will present will be the same as those due to drought (the leaves fall...).
