They protect the entire installation from suspended particles, sand, residue from repairs in the public network and small metal particles carried by the water, as well as from the problems that can be caused by corrosion due to the deposition of different materials. They also protect household appliances, washing machines, dishwashers, heaters, boilers, etc.

Why install Kinetico prefilters?
Kinetico prefilters do not use conventional polypropylene, polyester, etc. cartridges, which have to be replaced every time they get dirty. A stainless steel mesh, on the other hand, can last for many years depending on the quality of the water. This translates into greater savings and less waste generation.

How do they work?
The water flows along the outside of the vessel and passes through the stainless steel mesh, which filters all sediments larger than 50 microns. These are trapped on the surface of the mesh and thus do not enter the installation. When washing, a powerful brush and water pressure will remove all these particles.

Kinetico prefilters incorporate a pressure gauge to read the filter output pressure.
