Compact pressurization pump UPA 15-160 Schuko Grundfos

The Grundfos UPA 15-160 is a domestic booster pump designed for boosting the pressure of potable water supplied from an external source in residential premises. UPA booster pumps increase the pressure of domestic water so that the required pressure is available at showers, taps and other water points.

The pump has a 1 inch inlet and outlet port. The nominal pressure of the pump corresponds to PN 10 and it has a port-to-port length of 203 mm. UPA 15-160 gives you the convenience of constant water pressure with automatic start and stop. This is controlled by the external flow switch, which ensures optimum start/stop of the booster pump according to demand. The flow switch is supplied with the pump. The design is robust and the corrosion-resistant materials together with the cataphoretic-coated cast iron nozzle housing ensure a long service life. The pump is of the canned rotor type, i.e. the pump and motor form an integral unit without seal. This pump must always be installed with a horizontal drive shaft. This high-efficiency booster set features a four-pole synchronous permanent magnet motor with frequency converter. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. These construction features guarantee maintenance-free operation.
